Svaroopa is a Sanskrit word that means the bliss of your own Being. This style of yoga is non-athletic and non-competitive, for every kind of body. Asana (pose) classes will help you find freedom from:

Svaroopa® Vidya is the experiential knowing of your own blissful Being. Meditation courses and a weekly free group meditation make it easy to experience your calm, grounded, peaceful Self. Meditation can help:

Embodyment® and Svaroopa® Yoga Therapy private sessions offer more individualized attention and deeper healing and transformation.Vichara Therapy is yoga for your mind. Half-day and weekend workshops allow you to dive deeper into the pose and breathing practices.

Marlene (Matrika) has been teaching yoga since 1987, and continues advanced training through the Svaroopa® Vidya Ashram. She delights in empowering beginners as well as longtime yogis in finding precise pose alignments to create delicious openings in body, mind and more. Matrika teaches asana classes, learn to meditate series, and offers Embodyment® and Svaroopa®  Yoga Therapy* and Vichara sessions. Matrika is a registered yoga teacher at the 500-hour level with the Yoga Alliance.

Carolyn (Karuna) has been teaching yoga since 2004, and teaching Svaroopa® Yoga since 2007. She teaches Deeper Practice, learn to meditate courses and is a Meditation Group Leader, offering a weekly satsang meditation group. Carolyn also offers Embodyment® and Svaroopa®  Yoga Therapy*, Vichara sessions and Yoga Philosophy courses. Carolyn holds registered yoga teacher certifications with the Yoga Alliance.
