Designed for those new to yoga, this class includes more discussion and information about propping and pose alignments. Beginning Yoga focuses on the first three Svaroopa® yoga themes.
For those new to yoga—or experienced in another yoga style but new to Svaroopa® yoga—these classes feature the first six Svaroopa® yoga themes.
This level is appropriate for students who have attended Svaroopa® yoga classes weekly for six months or more—and who have also developed a regular personal practice. The focus is on the more challenging poses of Svaroopa® yoga themes 7 through 12.
When you have opened your spine through at least one year of dedicated, consistent attendance in the Regular Continuing class, you may be ready to deepen your yoga experience in the Advanced Continuing class. A daily personal practice is also a prerequisite. Students at this level also demonstrate readiness by participating in special programs such as Half Day Workshops and Yoga Immersion Weekends led by Leading Svaroopa® Yoga Teachers who travel to teach and share the gift of going deeper. By application or invitation only.
These early morning classes help you center and feel empowered to meet the new day. Classes provide reliable release of spinal tension, and when students are ready for them, also feature the more vigorous poses of Svaroopa® yoga.
Designed to give you a mid-day pick-me-up, these classes help you release the effects of stress, clearing the way for a productive, enjoyable afternoon.
